Mission, Ks Police Seizes Hemp CBD inventory of local shop

A business in Mission, Kansas was reportedly raided today, having its entire stock of hemp CBD oil confiscated.

Edward Smith, owner of the Mission, Kansas based alternative medicine shop Into the Mystic’ located at 5727 Johnson Drive in Mission, Ks , stated around 1pm today a Mission, Ks Police detective entered his store inquiring about the American Shaman hemp CBD oil he sold. Mr. Smith began to educate the detective, but was surprised when the officer told him he was confiscating his inventory. When Ed protested, stating hemp CBD oil was federally legal, the detective stated that Kansas does not have to follow federal law.

Ed reports the officer told him the department bought one of his CBD oil bottles and it contained THC. The detective went on to say Kansas allows NO THC whatsoever in any product.

The detective did allow Ed to inventory the product as he seized it.

The PIO of the Mission Police Department was unavailable for comment.
